Festival in het park
Plazey viert in 2009 voor de 17de keer het begin van de Brusselse zomer. Met klinkende namen op twee podia. Maar ook met straattheater,mobiele muziekmakerijen, visuele verrassingen en kinderanimatie. Het Elisabethpark, dat zich uitstrekt voor de Basiliek, laat zich tijdens Plazey van haar beste kant zien. Een enthousiaste ploeg onthaalt u er met lekker eten en drinken. Kortom, Plazey is er voor de levensgenieter in elk van u, jong of oud. Plazey is een organisatie van de Brusselse Gemeenschapscentra De Platoo (Koekelberg), De Zeyp (Ganshoren) en Essegem (Jette). De toegang is gratis.

Plazey est le nom donné au festival d’été gratuit organisé par trois centres communautaires voisins: De Platoo (Koekelberg), De Zeyp (Ganshoren) et Essegem (Jette). Le Plazey est un festival qui se déroule dans le Parc Elisabeth qui s’étend devant la basilique de Koekelberg. Plazey est avant tout un festival musical. Le pop, le rock, le bigband, la fanfare et d’autres… tous ont leur place sur le podium. Le programme musical très étendu est complété harmonieusement par un théâtre de plein air, un spectacle visuel, des tours de cirque, un programme tout spécialement destiné aux enfants et…
les plaisirs culinaires. Plazey est un festival familial ouvert et agréable.

Plazey is a festival taking place every summer in the Brussels Elisabeth Park, which stretches out in front of the Koekelberg Basilique. Plazey is a music festival, billing top quality musicians. But it is more than that. The extensive musical part of the programme is larded with open air theatre, dance, visual shows and culinary delights. Plazey is a family festival. It’s there for seven-year-old girls with plaits, for cocky teenagers, for self-confident thirty-year-olds and their toddlers, for ever young soixante-huitards, for grandmothers and grandfathers in love. And it’s all free of charge. Plazey is the summer festival of the Brussels community centres De Platoo (Koekelberg), De Zeyp (Ganshoren) and Essegem (Jette).
